Eaves-trough Cleaning
Protect the value of your home by having your gutters
cleaned regularly. When the gutters are left long enough
without cleaning, debris build up and the weight will
increase, causing them to break and become damaged.
With this said, moisture can start seeping in to your roof,
causing roof rot and the potential for water to get inside
your house creating mold and mildew.
When should I clean my gutters?
Although gutters can be cleaned at any time of the year
(as long as the temperature is above freezing) we
recommend having them cleaned first thing in the spring so that everything is flowing freely prior to all the rain. If you have larger trees overhanging your property, we would recommend having them done in the fall just after the trees have dropped the majority of their leaves. If you have any further questions, we would be more than happy to answer them for you.
How do we clean your gutters?
We use an assortment of ladders to be able to safely access your gutters and we will not rest our ladders directly against your home or gutters as that can lead to us scratching and damaging paint, stucco, etc. With that said, we use ladder arms to keep us a few feet away from your home at all times as well as making it safer for us due to the ladder’s not being able to slide. We will then first clear all debris by hand while hauling it away with us. Once all the debris has been cleared, we will use a commercial blower to direct the remaining water to the down spouts. If those are clogged, we will unscrew and properly clean them as well.
Benefits of regular Eaves-trough cleaning
Proper preventative maintenance to your home just like your vehicle will pay off in the long run. Gutter cleaning is certainly one of them. We can offer a yearly or bi yearly program and can provide follow ups so that it does not slip your mind and you don’t have to worry about your gutters not being cleaned ever again.
